Pssst… I'm also known as Syed!
Digital Experience Officer at City St George's, University of London · volunteer Head of Digital & Technology at Darul Ihsaan · happy to take on web content work and content page updates
I'm Ridhwan, a front-end developer and UI/UX designer in London working across higher education, healthcare, and community sectors. I build interfaces and digital experiences that are fast, accessible (WCAG 2.1 is a habit, not a checkbox), and human-centred — and I like owning the whole journey from UX research and design thinking through to polished product in production.
I shape digital experiences at City St George's, University of London, and volunteer as head of digital and technology at Darul Ihsaan, a local non-profit close to my heart. Behind that sits five years at GSK spanning product design, product management, and the global web estate; a platform I co-founded; freelance design work for community organisations; and a First Class BSc in Information Management for Business at UCL.
I'm currently looking for my next role — and alongside full builds I'm just as happy doing hands-on web content work: updating pages, restructuring sections, and keeping a site's content accurate and accessible. Feel free to reach out or grab a coffee with me in London.
Volunteer role at a local non-profit mosque and community hub: leading digital strategy, platforms, and the engineering behind them — a relationship that started when I built their website as a freelancer in 2020.
Shaping how students and staff experience the university's digital estate: CMS platforms (Squiz, WordPress), accessibility and compliance, SEO-optimised user-led content, and editorial workflows across academic and administrative teams.
Designing and building for the web as an independent designer.
Product Designer (2023—): designing Power BI dashboards with TCS for R&D Finance and the World-Class FP&A programme — UX research with finance teams, design-thinking led, WCAG 2.1 accessible, presented to senior stakeholders.
Earlier at GSK: Jr. Product Manager in Enterprise Hosting Services (2023), Technology Associate in Clinical Supply Chain doing user research and user-centred design (2021–23), and Global Digital IP & Web Editor (2019–20), leading a web audit across 50+ GSK market websites worldwide.
Co-founded and direct a platform serving the community — product, web, and everything in between. Intended as a free community platform.
End-to-end design, build, and content strategy for accessible WordPress sites — including Darul Ihsaan Mosque & Community Hub, SwiftClean247 (where I remain a strategic advisor), and InTuition Learning Centre.

Four independent, professionally administered assessments, taken between 2017 and 2022, that agree on the same picture. Hover or tap a card for the detail.
Analytical — searches for reasons and causes; trusts logic over guesswork when the stakes are high.
Relator — known for reducing tangled processes to their basic parts; people come to him for plainspoken explanations.
Responsibility — takes psychological ownership of anything he commits to; loyalty under pressure.
Deliberative — careful, risk-aware decisions; double-checks before shipping.
Belief — does his best work when it lines up with something he believes in.
Type 52 — "Supporting Coordinator"
The blue-green profile in practice: dependable, quality-first delivery — "painstaking, conscientious, industrious". Excels at maintenance and quality control, provides practical support quietly and consistently, and is motivated by high standards, doing the right thing in the right way, and working for a cause.
Realised strengths: Equality · Personal Responsibility · Empathic · Legacy
"Being fair and equitable is at the heart of who you are" — the report's number-one finding. Alongside it: keeps every promise he makes, tunes into how others feel, and wants to build things that outlast him.
Unrealised strengths (there when needed, room to use more): Catalyst, Innovation, Optimism, Adventure, Bounceback, Resilience, Persistence.
INFP — "The Mediator"
The idealist of the type system: quietly principled, empathetic, and motivated by meaning over status. Squares with the rest — values-led work, genuine care for the people using what he builds, and depth over noise.
CMS platforms I've shipped real work on — from single pages to global estates. Content updates, migrations, restructures, and day-to-day page maintenance all welcome:
